To sign up with, simply follow the indicated steps: fill in your e-mail, username, required company information, choose a password and…that’s it! Your e-mail address won't be disclosed publicly as all communication is held through our messaging system.
After signing up, we ask you to complete your profile in order to provide the necessary contact and payment information. It is particularly important to fill up your payment information, verify your phone number and add a profile photo.
Shuttle Planet will never communicate your personal data to any third party and will not publish your name nor any confidential data on the site.
In both cases, to confirm your membership, you need to accept our Terms and Conditions.
To log in, all you need is your email address and password.
If you have forgotten your password, you can click on: “forgot password” then, enter your email address and you will receive an email with a link in order to change your password. If you are no longer sure of the email address you registered or no longer have access to it, please contact our Member Relations team.
You can create a new one by clicking on "I’ve forgotten my password" on the login page.
1) A new page is displayed. Enter your email address (the one you signed up with).
2) Click on “Submit”.
3) You will receive an email containing a link enabling you to create a new password. Click on this link.
4) (If you don’t see the email in your mailbox, check your SPAM folder, you never know!)
5) Choose a new password, then confirm it.
You will then receive a confirmation email with your new credentials.
You can change your password under the "User Info" tab on your profile.
Bookings have been confirmed? Congratulations!
Upon confirmation of a booking, you will receive a confirmation of the booking and the customers contact details so that you can finalise any details of the ride with them.
You can also see all the details of your bookings from your dashboards' "Bookings" tab.
You can also send the customer a private message from this page.
Yes, Shuttle Planet takes a commission of 12% from a sold seat. If your monthly revenue on our site exceeds 10.000GBP, you can contact us for a custom pricing plan.
You want to make changes to your ride: departure date, number of seats and ride details?
As long as no bookings have been made, you can edit your ride offer as much as you like.
You can quickly and easily change your offer by visiting the "My Rides" tab, accessible from your Dashboard.
You can also access the drop down menu by clicking on your name in the top right hand corner of your screen.
You will find the list of all your rides, and you can easily:
· View ride
· Manage or Edit your ride
· Delete your ride
Warning: If you already have bookings in progress, you will not be able to make certain changes. You can only change the:
· Price per seat
· Ride details
· Number of seats available
If you want to increase or decrease the number of available seats, or indicate that your ride is full, go to "My Rides" and click on the up/down buttons to increase or decrease the number of available seats, then validate. If you enter "0", your trip will not appear in the search results anymore.
Info: When using the online booking system, you do not have to worry about managing the number of available seats as it is updated automatically with each booking.
You should remove your ride as soon as you can so that it no longer appears in the search results for passengers looking for a trip.
It's very quick:
Select the ride under "My Rides"
Click "Delete", in the far right hand corner of the offer
Confirm the cancellation by clicking "Yes, cancel this ride"
Warning: If you already have bookings in progress, you will not be able to delete the ride, however you can change the number of available seats to 0. Please note that you are obligated to carry out any rides with existing bookings.
By our Terms & Conditions we offer no cancellation for shared transportation unless otherwise arranged by yourself with the customer.
Private, VIP, and Rent-a-car bookings can be canceled up to 3 days before departure/pickup.

Our online payment service is exceptionally secure!
The data transmitted to our bank is fully encrypted with TLS encryption, used and recognized by all, and this information is not stored on our servers. Therefore, at no time, do we have access to your credit/debit card or bank account details, and in the unlikely event of a hacking of our site, this information could not be recovered.
There are a couple icons to help remind you that we offer secure transactions, and that there is no risk to take payments through our site:
· A small padlock in the browser frame
· A secure URL prefix (https://) with the company name
We handle all our payment processing through Paypal.
You set the price per seat at any value you wish. After bookings have been made you can change the price for the remaining seats only.
Should you encounter an issue with your payments, please refer to our support team.
Through our online booking system customers are charged immediately.
However, funds are held by us just in case for up to 3 to 5 days after the service they booked has been completed.
To create a profile on Shuttle Planet and have access to our services, you must be over 18 years old. Transporter registration is only allowed to registered legal entities.
However, we understand there are particular circumstances in which a minor would use our services without being accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.
If this is the case, the parents (or legal guardians) of the minor can make a booking directly from their profile. However, it is important to inform the company providing the service.
It is also necessary that the parents (legal guardians) or the service provider have the appropriate safety equipment (a child seat or a booster) depending on the child’s age and size, in accordance with the law.
To avoid any misunderstandings, please note that both parents (legal guardians) of the minor must be informed and give their approval for this ride.
For passengers, basic safety rules apply. For example: Customers are warned to not get in a vehicle that appears badly kept, has no seatbelts or if the driver appears to be intoxicated. We advise to always consult the reviews left to a company in order to ensure that you are trustworthy.
As we only allow companies to offer passenger transportation, the only vehicles you may use must be registered as company vehicles. As company vehicles they must comply with your countrys' regulations.
The type of vehicle you use can range from a car up to a coach bus.
The law indicates that you are responsible, as a driver, for all the luggage that is in your vehicle, regardless of whether it belongs to you or to one of your passengers.
This means that you can ask to open and inspect the contents of your passengers’ luggage. We understand that it is not a practical or easy request, but it is the law. There is no case law on this particular subject when it comes to ridesharing but it is recommended to take the necessary steps when travelling on high risk routes or crossing borders.
If you were to find yourself in a difficult situation because of one of your passengers, we would do everything we can to help, including providing all possible elements to certify that your only connection to this person was made through the site and you did not know them before.
Here is the information we could provide to the authorities to exonerate the innocent:
- Registration date and member page of all concerned.
- Email and telephone of all concerned.
- Date of your written exchanges through the Shuttle Planet website.
- Booking date, if applicable.
As a driver, you are entitled to check that every passenger possesses valid identification
Similarly, passengers may request verification that you are in possession of your driving license, passenger transportation license, valid inspection sticker/certificate and that your vehicle is insured.
We understand that asking for such information may be difficult, but it is recommended in some cases.
Our advice: You can request this information in case you have any doubt or if you will be crossing a border.
Before departure, you reserve the right to refuse to travel with a passenger that does not have proper identification.
If you are stopped by the police: It is important to insist on the fact that you do not know the person and have only used our website to offer transportation.
Rest assured, it is easy enough to prove that you did not know the person initially and that the connection to this person was solely for a rideshare. We can also provide all the elements to the authorities to exonerate you, if needed.
These recommendations also apply to any questioning about the contents of a passenger’s luggage or the transport of items through the site.
The driver/company is responsible for the passengers they are transporting and it is your companys' vehicle insurance that covers your passengers.
The coverage from your insurance depends on the insurance policy you have purchased and only your insurance company can provide all the details regarding it.
In any event, if your car breaks down during your trip, it is your responsibility to contact your auto insurance company to determine which services they will provide.
We expect the driver/company to act in "good faith" and to do everything necessary for their passengers to arrive safely.
If the insurance policy covers a ride to each passengers’ destination, your payment for the trip will proceed normally, unless otherwise agreed by with passengers.
Carpooling has shown to increase safety on the road. Due to the fact that several people are concentrated on the road at the same time, accidents are extremely rare.
However, if such an incident were to occur, the driver/company is responsible for their passengers and it is their insurance that covers all occupants of the vehicle.
Carpooling is no different from any other ride in regards to how the insurance of the driver covers the occupants of the vehicle in case of an accident. As we only allow companies to offer rides, the insurance and following safety regulations is mandatory.
In case of an accident, the driver/company should always do as much as they can to facilitate the next steps for their passengers, including communicating the details of their insurance policy.
Of course, it is also important to contact us so that our team can offer you a suitable response and provide any necessary assistance.
The driver must be like a welcoming host, and the passenger like a well-behaved guest in someone’s home.
The driver must be irreproachable at all levels, sensitive to the well-being of their passengers and respecting their requests, within reason of course.
The driver must drive cautiously and confidently, staying focused on the drive and abiding by the rules of the road.
Drivers should drop passengers off at the agreed-upon locations, and not at motorway rest areas or in the middle of nowhere. Drivers must also think about the comfort of their passengers and avoid overloading the vehicle, especially if each passenger brings luggage.
Carpooling is a great opportunity to meet people and engage in some interesting discussions! While this is not always the case, as we can be tired and not up for much conversation, a little effort goes a long way in breaking the ice, at least early on in the ride.
Finally, remember when the trip is done to leave a review for your chosen driver/company. It is always nice to receive a positive rating, and this contributes to the proper functioning of the community.
Shuttle Planet is a community of many members that we need to regulate, supervise and monitor constantly. Even after all of the help from our advanced verification and automatisation tools, nothing can replace an individual’s time and experience navigating the site.
Since the members are the people using the site – constantly checking available rides in the search results and exchanging directly with other members, you will be the first to notice something wrong or flag an issue.

From your Dashboard, you can update all of your information at any time:
· Your personal information (which you chose when you signed up).
· Your profile photo
· Your preferences
· Your verifications (telephone, payment info and email)

Offering a ride on Shuttle Planet is really easy!
Register for free to become a member of the community.
Publish your ride by clicking on Offer a Ride.
You then give the details of your ride, as follows:
Step 1 → Your itinerary
· Choose the departure and arrival cities, if possible giving precise pick-up and drop-off points.
· Give the date and time of departure.
Step 2 → Your offer
· Choose a price per passenger for your ride.
· Indicate the number of seats offered.
· Enter your ride details, remembering to give as much information about your ride as possible for your potential passengers.
· Indicate your preferences: Comfort, Children and Extras.
Step 3: Confirmation
· Submit your ride offer and it will be published immediately!
Once validated, your ride is visible to all customers, registered or not; for bookings or communication however they must register.
Yes you can!
You can offer recurring rides on a weekly as well as daily basis simply by marking the desired days under the "Offer a Ride" tabs.
The profile photo is completely optional.
We highly recommend that you upload a profile logo of your company, as it will be seen on every offer you make on Shuttle Planet.
You can upload it under the "My Profile" tab.
Please bear in mind that unapropriate profile photos will be removed.
To close your account, please contact us.
If you would like to close your account because you weren’t able to solve a problem, please allow us to suggest some tips that may be of use:
• To change your phone number or your email address, you can edit your profile.
• To resolve a technical issue, please contact us.
If you don't get a reply from a customer, you can try to contact the them through the contact information provided in the booking confirmation e-mail that you received at the time the customer booked a ride.
If you still can't reach them and you have a booking with the specific company, you can notify our customer support.
You can message the customers at any time, before or after booking from the bookings tab (as long as you’re logged in). If you’ve already started a conversation, you’ll also find it in Messages.
Messages are for understanding the details of the ride in advance, and we moderate them to keep Shuttle Planet friendly and safe.
We will not allow inappropriate messages to be sent. So be sure NOT to include:
Telephone numbers, email addresses or full names.
Attempts to avoid booking online.

For passengers, carpooling is an affordable and convenient travel option. For example, on a ride from London to Manchester, the price per passenger can vary between £8 to £23 depending on the mode and number of people travelling.
For transportation companies, carpooling itself helps offset the high cost of operating a vehicle. We also provide the advertising and payment processing for our customers on a global scale.
Of course, aside from the purely economic aspect, sharing a vehicle is also environmentally friendly. Instead of using a vehicle as an individual mode of transport, sharing it with others allows you to take advantage of any excess capacity efficiently and reduce the environmental impact of your journey.
