When you arrive at the pick-up location the driver will introduce himself and check if all the passengers who have booked the transport are present, or you might have to go to a nearby pick-up location, which is usually already pointed out in the pick-up address of the ride itself. The drivers will also take care of all your luggage and make sure it is safely stored in the back compartment of the vehicle. Abeid Amani Karume International Airport formerly known as Zanzibar International Airport and Kisauni Airport is located 5 kilometers south of the city of Zanzibar. It takes around 8 minutes to get to the airport from the downtown. To get to the city centre or any other location including other Zanzibar islands, you can schedule a shared transfer (Or a ferry in case of travelling to another island) or arrange a private transfer (Or a private boat trip).
